As night falls, a magical world of wonder awakes.
New installations from international artists, toasted marshmallows under the iconic Christmas tree, and a VIP festive feast inside our Elizabethan Christmas mansion make Glow Wild Sussex's most unique and unmissable Christmas light trail - just 30 minutes from Brighton and London Gatwick, with Haywards Heath station only 10 minutes away by public transport.

Crafting for Connection: Art in Nature
November 2025 – March 2026
Any art craft people looking to connect with nature? This event is near mid Sussex so ability to travel to Wakehurst for one Friday morning every month starting in November 7th . The chance to have your work in the exhibition unveiled at the community festival in May 2026.
This is a 5-month, mixed-ability, adults course and we ask participants to try to commit to all sessions.
Price: Free, including free parking

Calibre Audio Books
We’re pleased to share a great resource for members who struggle to read physical books. Calibre Audio is a charity providing audiobooks for people with:
✔️ Hypermobility
(soon to be added to their eligibility list!)
✔️ Learning difficulties
✔️ Brain injury
✔️ Visual impairment
✔️ Physical dexterity challenges
✔️ Neurodivergence
And any other condition that makes it hard to read books!

How It Works:
Self-declaration – if you have difficulty seeing, reading, manipulating, or comprehending text, you’re eligible.

Free for under-25s in the UK£3/month or £30/year for over-25s & international members
Financial support may be available for those who can’t afford it.
International members are welcome.
Calibre makes its own recordings, so most countries (including the UK, EU, US & Australia) are eligible.
Bonus: Possible Book Club!
Calibre has also offered to host an online book club for us! They can train one of our members to lead it, or one of their volunteers might help. If you're interested, we may run a poll to gauge interest.
